Some important differences about Boojum Expeditions:

  • Our US management staff has over 30 years experience in adventure travel.
  • Our local staff are young, enthusiastic men and women,  college graduates, many of whom have traveled and lived in the US.
  • With the exception of visas and airport taxes, our tour package is complete.  Our meals all include purified water, beer, tea  or soda at no additional charge.
  • Our camping gear is first quality and  we provide each group with a reference library.
  • We tell it like it is.   Many local companies paint an unrealistically rosy  picture of the travel conditions in Mongolia.  While things ARE improving rapidly, Mongolia is still a rustic travel experience.
